Aluminium Valley Guttering and Fittings

Aluminium Valley Guttering is normally fitted between two roofs, but can also be manufactured as a gutter liner. Our Non branded metal valley gutters are manufactured to suit each build and designed specifically to meet your individual project requirements. Special Profile Valley Gutters can be fabricated or pressed.

Making sure your Valley Guttering Design has the correct flow capacity is critical, so calculating the flow rates accurately is essential. We can calculate the flow rates for you and recommend an additional freeboard (of up to 75mm) over the maximum water level to allow for any water splashing or waves.

Deciding on the aluminium gauge of the valley gutter is dependent on whether the guttering is going to take foot traffic. It is good practice to have some gutter overflows as the consequences of overflow or leakage are serious. If valley gutters are part of the roof, they may also need to be insulated to comply with thermal requirements with respect to excess heat loss, thermal bridging and the risk of condensation.

Aluminium valley gutters normally sit in or on support brackets, carcassing or a gutter board and should be fixed to these. Valley gutter brackets can be manufactured to suit. We can also supply a range of fittings to complement the valley gutter system. These include stop ends, overflow stop ends, gutter overflows, running outlets, back outlets, side outlets, chute outlets, sleeve outlets, sump outlets, gutter angles, non-standard and irregular angles, raked angles, and apex angles. We also have a range of Hopper Heads and Rainwater Downpipes available to complement our Valley Gutters.

We normally supply Aluminium Valley Gutters in a mill finish, but polyester powder coated finishes are available in an array of RAL Colours. For further information please contact us on 0330  2231731 or email: sales@guttercentre.co.uk
