All of our online delivery costs are for UK mainland (excluding highlands) addresses only. For other locations, there will be additional charges. We will advise you of this charge before your order is dispatched.
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery cost is automatically calculated when you add products to your basket. This cost is determined by the manufacturer, weight and value of your order. All of our delivery charges are based on the customer being available to receive the order first time and to help manually offload the goods in a timely manner.
When will I receive my order?
This depends on the items you are ordering. Each product on our website has an estimated lead time highlighted in green. If it is time critical, we recommend you contact us directly before placing any order.
Will I get a delivery date?
Yes. On receipt of your paid order, we will email you an order acknowledgement informing you of your estimated delivery date. This date will be highlighted in green under each product on the attachment.
Is my delivery date guaranteed?
Unfortunately, we do not offer guaranteed delivery dates as most of our orders are delivered via third party couriers. We strongly recommend you do not arrange any labour until your order/materials are on site and have been checked they are 100% correct and free from any defects. Gutter Centre is unable to compensate you for your time or labour costs in the event of a late delivery or defective products.
Do you provide tracking for deliveries?
Most of our suppliers do not provide tracking. However, if you call/email us on the estimated date we will be able to check it is out for delivery.
Do I need to present for my delivery?
All deliveries should be signed for. Some products are delivered on timber pallets, up to 3m in length, which means the driver will need help unloading the vehicle at all times. The delivery vehicle will not have mechanical means to help offload, unless this has been agreed separately, so please make sure you provide sufficient labour to help unload the goods. If an attempt to deliver your order fails, due to there being nobody present to accept it, you may incur failed delivery charges.
Will I receive my order in one delivery?
Some of the goods ordered may come to you from separate locations; resulting in more than one delivery. Depending on stock availability, some orders may also be split into multiple deliveries so you are not kept waiting for those items in stock.
What if there are restrictions for my delivery address?
If there are any vehicle access or time restrictions at your delivery address, you must inform us immediately. If an attempt to deliver your order fails, because of such restrictions, you may incur failed delivery charges.
What if my delivery doesn't arrive on time?
Please contact us if your delivery does not arrive on your estimated delivery date.
What should I do when my order arrives?
Please check your order as soon as it arrives to ensure the correct items have been delivered with no damages. If polyester powder-coated products are being stored outside, cover them with tarpaulin to guard against water ingress and remove all wrapping. If water becomes trapped within the polythene wrapping and is left exposed to warm sunlight, it may leave permanent water stains on the paint finish.
What if I receive the wrong or damaged items?
In the event that you are not satisfied with our products due to damage, incorrect quantity or the wrong product has been supplied, please raise your claim in writing within 3 working days after the delivery date. If reporting damages, images must also be supplied within 3 working days of delivery. Claims received after 3 days or without images cannot be considered.
Can I collect my order instead?
Depending on the products, you may be able to collect your order directly from Gutter Centre or the manufacturer. Please contact us with the items you are looking to collect, and we will be able to advise accordingly.
Can I return my order?
Non-stock, painted or made to order products are non-returnable. Please refer to our return policy for more information.
