Skyline Aluminium Column Casings are designed to meet any profile and size requirements. Suitable for both external and internal applications, easy to install with minimal visual fixings.

Aluminium column casings can be purpose designed to maintain the visual integrity of Skyline architectural aluminium applied to the building envelope. Secret-fix aluminium column casings can be fabricated to complement any scheme to create visual continuity with the installation as a whole.

Our column casing range includes circular, semi circular and square options as standard and are supplied in 3m sections. Bespoke shapes & sizes also available on request.

Skyline aluminium column casing applications include concealing unsightly structural elements and services and are suitable for exterior and interior applications in a range of 26 RAL colours as standard, with bespoke colours available upon request, surcharges may apply.

What type of build does Alumasc skyline Column Casings lend itself to?

What is Alumasc Skyline Column casings used for?

Skyline Column casings meets all the challenges of hiding many unsightly elements of construction, examples include steelwork, unsightly concrete columns, timber work and service ducts routed to columns.

Can Skyline column casings be used internally as well?

Yes our casings can be used internal as well as external.

What lengths are available as standard?

The column lengths are all 3m long, which gives you a total height of approx. 3.4m as it includes top/bottom finishing collars.

What diameters can the Skyline Aluminium Column casings wrap around?

We have two profiles Circular and Square. Our circular starts at 300mm dia up to 1000mm in 100mm increments. The square ranges starts at 250mm sq up to 1000mm sq in 100mm increments.

Do all circular and square columns come in two parts?

No, all our columns over 750mm dia or 700 sq get supplied in quarters.

Can I order bespoke Skyline Aluminium Column Case sizes to suit my specific project?

Yes you can, speak to our team regarding the details of this so it can be correctly quoted. Once ordered you will have to approve production drawings on these before the order goes into manufacture. Bespoke items are strictly non returnable so you need to double check every dimension on the drawings before approving.

How many colours are available in the Alumasc Skyline Column Casing range?

We can offer plain mill finish or a range of BBA approved polyester powder coatings. The standard aluminium RAL range offers a choice of 26 colours, all with a 30% gloss finish unless otherwise stated. Bespoke colours are also available, but surcharges may apply.

What should I do if I have to cut the skyline Aluminium Column Casing, will it jeopardise the powder coating finish?

As long as you defile the cut, and then use touch up paint to paint the exposed ends before install then it wont effect the BBA guarantee.

How do I protect my aluminium Skyline Column Casing if the building is near a Marine environment?

We can also provide the product in a Marine grade finish (thicker coating of powder) at an extra cost.

How recyclable is Alumasc's Skyline Column Casing?

Yes all our aluminium Skyline coping is 100% recyclable, making in a good choice for both your build and the environment.
