Skyline Aluminium Windows & Door Pods or Surrounds can be made to your exact specification. With the longevity you can expect from an Alumasc product, the window pods will provide a perfect finish to any contemporary building.

The Skyline standard window & door surrounds are suitable for fixing to most exterior finishes and comprises of five main components, corners, straight lengths, fixing brackets, 90 degree angles (for corner windows) and loose unions. A full installation guide is available which gives step by step instructions on how to fit.

Skyline Window & Door Surrounds constitute a complete system that is simple to install, and which offers designers and specifiers a perfect combination of practicality, innovation, aesthetic appeal and low maintenance.

A range of standard Skyline Window & Door Pod Kits are available in both Deepline (100mm projection)and Slimline (50mm projection) options. These kits give designers and specifiers a complete package of components, and choice covering a range of window and door opening sizes.

What are the face sizes you can choose from?

We have three face sizes to choose from 100mm, 150mm, 200mm.

Can I order bespoke sizes to suit my specific project?

Yes you can, speak to our team regarding the details of this so it can be correctly quoted. Once ordered you will have to approve production drawings on these before the order goes into manufacture. Bespoke items are strictly non returnable so you need to double check every dimension on the drawings before approving.

How many colours are available in the Alumasc Skyline Window Surrounds range?

We can offer plain mill finish or a range of BBA approved polyester powder coatings. The standard aluminium RAL range offers a choice of 26 colours, all with a 30% gloss finish unless otherwise stated. Bespoke colours are also available, but surcharges may apply.

What should I do if I have to cut the skyline Aluminium Window Surrounds, will it jeopardise the powder coating finish?

As long as you defile the cut, and then use touch up paint to paint the exposed ends before install then it wont effect the BBA guarantee.

How do I protect my aluminium Skyline Window Surrounds if the building is near a Marine environment?

We can also provide the product in a Marine grade finish (thicker coating of powder) at an extra cost.

How recyclable is Alumasc's Skylines Window surrounds?

Yes all our aluminium Skyline coping is 100% recyclable, making in a good choice for both your build and the environment.
