Vulcathene Mechanical Thermal Stress Relief Unit W802. Made in a nominal internal diameter of 51mm. The W802 can be installed either vertically or horizontally. When installed it is important to ensure that the end which forms the collar is the outflow end of the fitting. The W802 SRU is supplied with 51mm mechanical Pipe Couplers at each end. The unit must be anchored with a metal clamp which should be located round the body f the SRU, just below the ridge round the top of the collar. This allows the pipe inserted into the collar to move freely.

The Vulcathene Mechanical system is a complete purpose-designed chemical resistant plumbing system which embraces laboratory bench items such as wastes, sinks and drip cups, anti-siphon traps, expansion joints plus a comprehensive range of pipe fittings from 38mm to 102mm. Mechanical Jointing, with its unique nut & olive method, is simple & fast to execute and joints can be easily made and remade without affecting the joint’s efficiency, allowing system changes to be made at reduced cost. Simple, purpose designed tools ensure correct installation.

Where will my order be delivered?Kerbside only, with no mechanical offloading. Do not book installation labour until your order has been received and fully checked.
Will I receive my order in one delivery?Not always — items may ship from separate locations or be split across multiple deliveries depending on stock availability.
What if my delivery is late?Please contact us if your order doesn't arrive on the estimated date.
What should I do when my order arrives?Check immediately for correct items and damage. If storing powder-coated products outside, cover with tarpaulin to prevent water staining.
Wrong or damaged items?Raise a written claim within 3 working days of delivery, with images. Claims received after 3 days or without images cannot be considered.
Can I collect my order?Possibly — contact us with the items you'd like to collect and we'll advise if collection is available from us or the manufacturer.

We recommend contacting our sales office before placing any order to establish whether the product is a stock, non-stock or made/painted to order item. All requests to return items must be made in writing first.

Stock itemsReturnable within 14 days of purchase for a full refund (excluding carriage), provided items are unused, in original packaging and in saleable condition.
Non-stock itemsReturns are at the manufacturer's discretion and may incur a restocking charge. Items cannot be returned to Gutter Centre directly.
Made or painted to orderNon-returnable. This includes all aluminium mill or powder coated products, GRP, steel and cast iron products. Always check before ordering.
How to make a returnOnce your return is accepted in writing, we'll provide the returns address and any references to include. Returns sent without written acceptance will be refused.
Return shippingWe do not offer a collection service. You are responsible for returning goods in saleable condition at your own cost using a tracked service.
