Ground spikes offer a simple, yet effective, alternative to a cement base for decking installation on soft ground. This provides a solid foundation on which decking pedestals, can be placed. The ground spike is to be driven into the ground with a sledgehammer or similar - this provides an alternative solution to cement base where weights allow.
